Fluss Academy began with two friends from Austria, Kevin and Julia, who helped me when my German was weak and believed in my potential even when I doubted myself. Their daily calls, corrections, and encouragement sparked a dream in me: “Start your own academy.” In July 2025, that dream came to life—just me, a laptop, and one student named Maymol. We worked day and night, and when she passed her German B1 TELC exam, I realised how powerful personal attention truly is. I had experienced the struggle of sitting in a class of 20–30 students, afraid to ask doubts, getting almost no chance to speak, and watching confidence disappear. I promised that no student at Fluss Academy would ever feel that way. So we became a one-on-one only institution—focused completely on individual growth, fearless speaking, and premium learning quality. The biggest challenge was finding good teachers, but instead of advertising for students, I advertised for quality trainers. With the support of Kevin and Julia, I built a team of 13 amazing teachers, including native speakers from around the world. Today, Fluss Academy has expanded beyond German—we now help students improve speaking fluency in French, Spanish, and English as well. While we teach German grammar when needed, our main focus is speaking, communication, and confidence building. From a single student to a growing global online academy, Fluss Academy is now a family that helps students build confidence, careers, and a future in German-speaking countries and beyond—while also giving opportunities to passionate tutors.
